Join the front lines of free speech. FIRE’s 10-week, paid summer internship offers undergraduate students a hands-on opportunity to defend civil liberties on campuses nationwide. FIRE Student Network Summer Conference
FIRE’s summer conference brings together more than 100 college students from across the country for a weekend of education, networking, and strategy. FIREexplore the intersection of culture, law, and policy, and leave equipped with action plans to strengthen free expression on their campuses.

This annual event takes place each July in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and is open to undergraduate and graduate students at U.S. colleges and universities, including incoming first-year students. To learn more about the event, please click here.
FIRE Student Development Conference
FIRE’s most exclusive student event of the year connects the nation’s most dedicated free speech advocates for a three-day, intensive experience. FIREconnect with FIREstaff, gain professional development and career insights, and build the skills and networks to launch their future in First Amendment advocacy.
