FIRE’s law student opportunities are designed to train the next generation of constitutional advocates and create a pipeline for future leaders in public interest law.

These opportunities not only provide substantive training and mentorship but also open pathways to long-term engagement with FIRE— from full-time roles to participation in our Legal Network and beyond. Semester Legal Clerkship

FIRE’s Hellman Fellows support cutting-edge First Amendment litigation while receiving mentorship, training, and an $8,000 stipend. This premier litigation summer fellowship offers law students the chance to contribute meaningfully to the national fight for free expression.

Summer Legal Internship
