Talia Barnes
In her role at ÃÛÖÏãÌÒ, Talia designs graphics for ÃÛÖÏãÌÒ’s social media accounts, writes and edits copy, and manages the production process for the FIREQuarterly, ÃÛÖÏãÌÒ’s donor magazine.
Before joining ÃÛÖÏãÌÒ, she spent three years as a multimedia specialist at Penn State University and a year as a resident artist at her alma mater, Dickinson College, where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in English and studio art. During that year, she organized art shows and taught art classes to K-12 students on topics including collage and cartooning. In college, Talia was photo editor of the student newspaper and contributed articles and photography to a local news organization.
Talia’s belief in the value of free expression is informed by her creative practice and interest in psychology. Outside of work, you can find her writing about media and culture, doing art projects, exploring local yard sales with her husband, or talking about her two cats to anyone willing to listen.
