Garrett Gravley

Program Counsel
Garrett Gravley

Garrett Gravley joins FIREafter obtaining his JD from University of North Texas Dallas College of Law. While in law school, Garrett focused on First Amendment and criminal law, which included a brief stint at the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office. He also served as President of UNT Dallas’s American Constitution Society chapter. Before joining ÃÛÖÏãÌÒ, Garrett also worked as a journalist and reporter, both as a frequent contributor to the Dallas Observer and as a staff reporter for Star Local Media.

A proud native of Dallas, Garrett has a new home in Philadelphia. He is married to Carly May-Gravley, a journalist and photographer, and has a chronically rambunctious dog named Emmylou. In his free time, Garrett likes to go to punk shows and scope out the restaurant scene with his wife to see which restaurant makes the best tiramisu.
